Christmas message from the President
This year 2020 has been a year like no other. It will be one that will marked in our minds and hearts as one most challenging many ways. As the year now draws to a close, when the usual happy season would have been in full swing, but alas, no office parties, no Christmas carols or other such happy and cheery activities of mass gathering. The GREG too has had to forego our usual end of year social event which had been a standard for several years now.
However, we look forward to a hopefully brighter year in 2021 with our nation’s achievement in managing the Covid menace. With some luck on our side, we hope to return to some form of normalcy in 2021 with plans to host a few interesting events which we had to defer from the whole of 2020. Please look out for the new year’s list of events which we will post in January/February.
An AGM is planned for early in the year to elect the committee for 2021. I would like to invite anyone with interest to come forward to participate as a committee member to help propel our Geelong Regional Engineers Group forward to make it an ever vibrant and interesting group through diversity of all shape and form. A notice will be sent out at the start of the year.
