GREG, along with Deakin’s Construction Management student community, BuildHub, are pleased to announce our next event for 2026 will be held on Thursday 18th of June, from 5:30pm till 7:30pm.

Speaker

Mr Alex Simpson (Commercial Manager - Plan Group).

Alex is an experienced construction professional with Plan Group, operating as a commercial manager within their Geelong Branch. As a former Deakin Graduate, Alex comes to GREG to share with us some insight with respect to:

• Pathways into the construction industry. Past, present and future.
• A presentation of a case study project(s)- tender, methodology and delivery.
• Insight into the current commercial construction market and reactions and response to current global volatility, including how the engineering faculty can aide, assist and drive solutions-based outcomes to global inflationary pressures.
